Soap making

Never one to shy away from a new craft - yesterday I went to a soap making workshop. I'll be honest it's been on my bucket list. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed it. If only science had been like this at school I'd be a scientist! The smell in my car on the journey home was heavenly! 

Pottery

I've been going along to my pottery class for a while now, I love the mindfulness of it. My latest creation is a sign for our small farm. I'm quite loving it! 

33 years

This weekend we celebrated 33 years of marriage, which is a difficult achievement when you are only 21! Even my six year old granddaughter doesn't believe me anymore when I say that!  I'd be telling fibs if I said that it had been easy but like anything worth having it's definitely worth working for.

We had breakfast out, just the two of us.

Happy New Year

 Is it too late to wish a Happy New Year? I don't think so we are only three and a half weeks in. 

I'd somehow forgotten about my blog, well not really forgotten, just pushed it to the back of my mind. I was looking for something on Pinterest and stumbled across something from my blog from many moons ago. It piqued my interest again and I've looked at some of the blogs that I followed and it would appear that whilst some have disappeared many are still alive and well! Good news. So we'll see if I can do this again. Anyway I've made a start.
