It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

I have put my tree up about a week ago, I can't tell you how much I love it! All the baubles are vintage, some are quite possibly 60 - 70 years old. Their sparkly kitchness makes my heart sing! They have been collected over a number of years and this year I felt that I had enough for the whole tree. Thankfully my tree is not 7 foot tall! Many good things are shorter in height.

I also met with friends to make a wreath. Such a fun evening! I would definitely recommend crafting with friends.

It's been a really long time...

I finally feel like myself! It's been a long time coming, but, I'm not going to dwell on it because we all have our troubles. I realise I haven't shared a photo of our new addition, well, he's not brand new as we have had him over a year now. He was 8 months old when we had him and were his fourth owners.  I do love him so much! He doesn't always wear his haltie, but he is very strong and he likes to pull!

Isn't he a handsome boy! For all his size he is a gentle soul and understands so much. He was definitely meant to be ours, as we were meant to be his.

This year I have decided to make a few Christmas presents. I've  gotten back into knitting (guess how I have made the gifts?)  Each slow repetitive stitch helps me to be in the moment - I'm not able to knit whilst doing other things as I really need to concentrate. Luckily I have such a stash of yarn that I didn't even need to go shopping! I can't share any photos yet but they will be incoming soon!
