At last!

Thank goodness the weather has been nice enough to take some photos of my gift.  I am by no means David Bailey but even I know that I need some decent lighting. Anyway I've dilly-dallied long enough without showing you...

 

The little details that Tracy has included in this gift has really touched me.  I am proud to be Welsh and she has just captured everything I love! I am very overwhelmed with her kindness in making such a beautiful gift for me.  I am going to be slightly unconventional about my pay-it-forward gift as I am going to make a gift for someone that I work with.  Mr and Mrs P read my blog every day and I know that she would love to get involved with swaps and things.  If I can't persuade her to join us bloggers then I will blog photos and details here. I have already decided what I would like to make and I just know that she would love it. (Mrs P I have a year and I love last minute! ;-) )

A lovely surprise...

I can't believe that I haven't blogged since the 8th.  Such a lot has happened I just don't know where to begin.  I haven't even blogged about half term. Anyway firstly I would like to tell you about a wonderful, wonderful surprise that I had last week. I came home and there was a parcel with my name on, now if we ever order anything from Ebay it is always addressed to me.  I assumed that husband had bought something, he assumed I had.  So it was with much intrigue that I tore into the parcel.  Clearly I had time to stop and pick up my camera...

It was a parcel from Tracy Mad about bags. A little while ago I joined a Pay-it-forward on her blog.  Life had kind of taken over and it had slipped my mind. I have been permanently smiling since I opened it - it was the nicest surprise ever and such a personal and thoughtful gift. I will show you what it was tomorrow...

Just slacking!

So sorry that I have been slacking. I have started my report writing but to be honest I've hardly scratched the surface, so can't really use that as an excuse (maybe I'll use my PPA time wisely tomorrow.) I have marked the never ending test papers thankfully, so they are crossed off my list. I shall try and get a grip of my life and be properly back tomorrow...
