A lack of beds has meant that hubby has been sent out of hospital this evening. There was no bay for him in recovery so he was put in the corner of the ward, not that it matters because he slept most of the time anyway. When they eventually found him a bed it was in the maternity wing. The NHS is not what it once was. The skills and compassion of the Drs and nurses thankfully is without question. His operation went well and he has no loss of sensation or facial paralysis. We are very grateful. Now it is my turn to care for him. I do hope that he is not a difficult patient ;-) I did take a lovely photo of him all bandaged up but technical issues means they will have to wait for another day.
Update!
Been thinking of you 💭x
