Our old boy turns 13 this month. He has lost his hearing and most definitely his marbles. He is still very happy and just loves life. Long may it remain that way.
All that really matters is that he has the love of his beloved humans - everything else can be coped with. It is sad when you see your animal ageing but their later years are so precious as you each know the other so well that life is very sweet indeed.
He most definitely has a charmed life and will be cherished right to the very end unless of course he continues to eat the entire contents of my handbag which he is now dragging from the table. A completely new trick he has discovered since his marbles have gone AWOL!
